Creating anything can be very difficult, but this is especially true in this day and age. While it may be easier to access materials and learning tools, it is so hard to choose which one to rely on and to understand how to use these very complex tools. The world is filled with options and it can be very hard to know which direction to go in or who to trust.  

There is a multitude of ways to start a server, there are different kinds and different platforms in which to aim your server towards. When Minecraft began there was just survival and creative, and as time has gone on the different game modes have only exploded into complex, multi-tiered events where people dedicate a lot of time towards. It is important to choose a game mode for your server that will bring in the most people, and ensure that it is still something that you enjoy yourself. The players have so many options to choose from when it comes to choosing servers to play on, so you have to think what makes you different?  

It can be hard to stand out in a world filled with possibilities, people tend to get bored and have short attentions spans now that everything is so accessible. In order to prevent users from leaving the server you have to constantly change and evolve what it is that you are doing, if people do not see any change or new updates then they tend to look elsewhere for something new. It can be hard to constantly think of ideas and new modes to implement into a server, in order to create these constant changes, you have to surround yourself with creatives.  

This is where it can be tricky because most times you need someone to help run a server, it is a lot to do on your own. When choosing people to trust with your server it can be impossible to know who really cares and who is there for a paycheck. This is why you must surround yourself with confident creatives who you trust to move your server in the right direction and come up with those fresh ideas you need to grow.  

It can be very hard to start a server and keep it alive in the Minecraft world of 2024. When the game first began to gain traction there were very few gaming servers available so people flooded them, now there are too many servers and not as many players to fill them. This is where it can be hard to stand out and create a name for yourself. Be selective with your inner circle, be creative, and never stop listening to your Minecraft server community.
