It can be very hard for a game to remain relevant for as many years as Minecraft has been able to. In a world where there is a surplus of games for people to play and explore, Minecraft stands out as one that will be around for generations. This type of status is obtained by paying attention to the ever-changing world around us as well as the community of gamers that started playing in the first place.   

Minecraft allows players from all over the world to join together and use their creativity to their advantage. People have found a common place where anyone can join and express their creativity through the game itself. While some people use the game for survival, there is an entirely different side to it with creative mode. Any idea can be made a reality with Minecraft and the world that you create within. There was never a game that allowed you to use your art in an online universe, and present it to the gaming community for them to play on and enjoy. This was completely new and it inspired people to push themselves to start something revolutionary for the gaming community to dive into.  

If something stays stagnant and refuses to change then it is more likely to die off and be forgotten. Minecraft has been able to introduce updates with new blocks, environments, animals and so much more that the community then gets to explore on both survival and creative servers. With new ways to play the game and new mobs to face it became very easy for the game to keep people interested in continuing to play for years to come. Any successful business is going to have to adapt and evolve with the changing of times and revolution of new gameplay styles in order to keep their players interested in continuing to log in and play what was once a simple game of survival.  

Accessibility and access to Minecraft is another aspect of it that continues to bring in new players on top of the already existing player base. It is available for anyone with a phone, console, or computer to log in and start playing with their friends. The repayable nature of Minecraft is what makes it interesting to play as well. Without that aspect the game would have been long forgotten, with the ability to start a new world whenever you want and have an entirely different experience each time keeps people playing the game.  

Minecraft has been around for long enough for us all to know what it is, and while it may sound simple from the outside. The reality of the game is much more complex, there is an endless number of reasons for people to use the game for their own interest. Without change there is no growth, Minecraft has mastered the art of changing things to keep players interested all while maintaining the original charm of the game, we all fell in love with initially.
